For the second year in a row, the world’s largest travel website, TripAdvisor, has given The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-lake its prestigious 2012 Certificate of Excellence award, based on consistent high reviews from travelers.
According to TripAdvisor, guest reviews consistently commended The Lodge with high praise about their stay. Additional criteria to receive the award include the volume of reviews received within the past 12 months.
“We’re very honored to receive this award by TripAdvisor,” said Jeannette Petrolia, general manager at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake. “We strive for excellent customer service – and the award means a lot to us because it’s based on travel reviews from those who have actually stayed at The Lodge and wanted to recommend their experience to other potential visitors.”
Petrolia said The Lodge’s GuestPath program is also a key component to receiving the honor, as it reflects the dedication of Lodge associates to provide each guest with a memorable experience.
To receive the Certificate of Excellence award, the business must maintain a “4” overall rating or higher (out of a possible 5) when reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor. About 10 percent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor.com receive this prestigious award.
