Mother’s Day Buffet Offers Favorites for Every Palate
The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake is continuing its Mother’s Day tradition with a palate-tempting Mother’s Day Buffet on Sunday, May 10. Offered in The Lodge’s Horizons Restaurant, which boasts breathtaking views of Lake Erie, the Mother’s Day Buffet will be available for all members of the family to enjoy from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Prepared by The Lodge’s Executive Chef Stephen Gary, this year’s Mother’s Day Buffet will feature a wide array of entrees that will satisfy any appetite including carved mango cranberry stuffed chicken breast with brown sugar raisin glaze; sliced top round of beef with wild mushroom demi glaze; herb roasted and slice pork loin with roasted sweet corn and pepper salsa; and shrimp scampi with parsley and herb rice.
Lighter choices are offered with an assortment of salads and side dishes including fresh mixed greens salad with roma tomatoes and cucumber; balsamic vegetable pasta salad, garlic and basil roasted red potatoes; cheddar au gratin potatoes; freshly steamed broccoli and cauliflower with garlic butter; and lemon and herb glazed baby carrots. 
Guests can indulge their sweet tooth with a selection of delectable desserts including double layer chocolate fudge cake, tiramisu, and chocolate fondue with pound cake marshmallows, rice krispie treats, graham crackers, strawberries, pineapple and more.
The Mother’s Day Sunday Buffet, served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 10, is priced at $26 for adults; $22 for seniors over age 65, and $13 for children ages 4 – 12. Children 3 and under dine free.
