Experience a Spectacular View and Lakeside Dining

GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ohio (June 13, 2007) -- New summer menus featuring American cuisine with a contemporary flair and a magnificent Lake Erie view make dining at Horizons Restaurant and lounge a memorable occasion at the Lodge & Conference Center at Geneva-on-the-Lake.

Savoring America's Best in Horizons
The new Horizons summer dinner menu features a variety of palate-tempting entrées to be enjoyed in the glass-enclosed restaurant or al fresco on the outdoor patio.

Dinner selections range from Seared Duck Breast with Roasted Shallot Vinaigrette ($21) and Grilled Buffalo Striploin with Madeira Wine Sauce ($22) to Pistachio Crusted Lamb Chops ($23) and Grilled Skirt Steak with Watermelon Red Onion Relish ($16). Lighter, meatless options include the Chile Crusted Halibut with Basil Tomato Sauce ($17) or the six-cheese Ravioli with Marinara Sauce ($15).

Lounge Fare a Cut Above
Those seeking a quick bite with friends or watching their favorite sports team will enjoy the casual ambience of the Lodge’s lounge and summer menu additions. New appetizers include Shrimp Cocktail ($9) and Pork Bites ($7). Angus Burger ($10); Pepperoni Pita with Provolone and Parmesan Cheese, Pepperoncini and Roasted Red Pepper ($7); Grilled Hawaiian with Shaved Hickory Ham, Cheddar Cheese and Pineapple ($6); and Grilled Tuna Melt with Roasted Red Peppers ($7) are among the new sandwich selections. 

Patrons enjoy live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights through August, and every Saturday September through December.

Horizons Restaurant and Lounge Hours
Horizons Restaurant is open to the public for breakfast, lunch or dinner during the following days and times:

  • Dinner is served Sunday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m, and on Friday and Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Lounge dining is available Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Lunch is served Monday through Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday brunch is served 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • The new breakfast buffet (eggs-any-way station; made-to-order waffles station with fresh fruit options; hash browns; bacon; and a variety of cereals, pastries and more) is available 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Sundays through Labor Day.
