A Month of Romance
The Lodge is helping make February an unforgettable romantic occasion. On February 14, couples can enjoy a Valentine’s Day Vintners Dinner and wine tasting experience or indulge in a specially prepared, three-course Valentine’s Day dinner for two in Horizons Restaurant. In addition, The Lodge is offering two different romantic winter packages.

  • Valentine’s Day Vintners Dinner Experience
    On Saturday, Feb. 14, treat that special someone to an unforgettable Valentine’s Day Vintners Dinner experience. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with South River Vineyards sharing anecdotes while leading a wine tasting and seminar. Guests are then treated to a five-course dinner with each course paired with an appropriate wine.

    The secrets of the evening’s wine pairings are revealed by The Lodge’s Sous Chef Steven Sterritt and Gene Siegle from South River Vineyards who will visit with guests during dinner. Live music will serenade guests throughout the evening.

    The Vintners Dinner Package also includes overnight accommodations for two, breakfast the following morning and a late checkout. The package begins at $299 plus tax, per couple.
  • Valentine’s Day Chef’s Tour Menu featuring South River Vineyards
    Executive Chef Stephen Gary, CCC will create a Valentine’s Day Chef’s Tour Menu featuring South River Vineyards. This special Valentine’s Day menu allows guests to customize their dinner from two selections in each of three courses. Offered at Horizons Restaurant, the Valentine’s Day Chef’s Tour Menu is $89 per couple or $109 per couple with the wine pairing. In addition to the three-course Valentine’s Day dinner, guests can choose to order off the new winter menu in Horizons Restaurant.

Winter Getaway Packages

  • The Lodge’s Sweetheart Package allows you to treat yourself and the one you love to a romantic getaway in February. This package includes an overnight stay, bottle of wine, chocolates, and breakfast for two. The Lodge’s Sweetheart package is available February 1 though February 28, starting at $109 plus tax, per couple.
  • The Winter Escape Bed & Breakfast Package is an economical winter escape that allows you to experience the wintry wonders of Lake Erie’s shoreline. Available every day from January 1 – March 31, 2009, the package includes overnight accommodations and breakfast for two, starting from $89 plus tax, per couple.

    While staying at The Lodge, guests can also enjoy the indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center and game room, dining at Horizons Restaurant and massage services (additional fee by appointment).
