Special Easter Brunch And New Getaways Offer Fun For All At The Lodge & Conference Center At Geneva-On-The-Lake

Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio, (March 23, 2007) -- The Lodge & Conference Center at Geneva-on-the-Lake celebrates spring with a grand Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 8, and two spring getaways that won’t break a budget.

Easter Delights

The Easter Bunny presides over activities for those attending the Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 8. Youngsters will be invited to gather up their share of eggs filled with candy and prizes at the Lodge’s Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All will enjoy the balloon creations and magic tricks of local entertainer Mr. Twister as he entertains in Horizons restaurant and in the lobby from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Easter Brunch will tempt traditionalists with chef-carved brown sugar glazed ham, chef-prepared omelets to order, and French toast stuffed with strawberries and cream cheese. More exotic selections include blackened mahi-mahi with creole sauce, pepper crusted sirloin with brandy demi glaze and lemon thyme roasted chicken served atop wild mushroom ragout. A chilled seafood display featuring house-cured Gravlax – a Scandinavian, salmon appetizer; domestic and imported cheeses, fresh seasonal fruits, and bakery are among the variety of culinary delights awaiting guests. The brunch finale includes a selection of cakes and pies.

The Easter Brunch, served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., is priced at $26.95 for adults; $24.95 for seniors over age 65, and $12.95 for children ages 4 – 11. Children 3 and under are complimentary. For reservations, call (440) 466-7100, Press “2.”

Take A Break This Spring with Two Getaway Packages

The Family Getaway at Geneva: The package includes a one-night stay for two adults, children age 13 and under stay for free, starting at $89.

Spring Special at Geneva: The package includes a one-night stay for two and a breakfast voucher for $20 at Horizons restaurant, starting at $99 per couple.

Spring Break Activities for Guests

Overnight guests will be treated to special activities that include adult aerobics, wine tastings, a family cookie social, Friday night winery shuttle, jigsaw challenge in the lobby, and live entertainment in the lounge. Activities are offered at various times and dates from April 2 through April 15 at no additional charge.

Saturday, April 7 activities also include egg decorating, kite flying and a family movie in the lobby. The public is invited to bring kites and join in the kite-flying fun on Saturday, April 7, from noon to 4 p.m.
